Somerset Council is responsible for these services until 1st April 2025.

 

After 1st April Wellington Town Council will be managing grass cutting and weed control within the town’s boundaries, apart from HRA areas and estates that are maintained by management companies.

 

There is a programme of six cuts per year of roadside verges and green spaces, starting in early March.

 

Somerset Council also carries out two rounds of weedkilling annually, and the Town Council pays for an additional treatment if it is felt necessary.
