Coronation Art Competition

Coronation Art Competition

Wellington Town Council would like to extend our Coronation celebrations and invite all children to take part in an art competition. We are encouraging children to create a piece of art inspired by the Coronation of King Charles III. This art can be in any 2D format up to size A3: as long as we can scan it, we want to see it!

All art submitted will be uploaded to the gallery on our Coronation page while the winner of each age group will receive a badge and certificate presented by the Mayor. The age groups are as follows: Under 7, 8-11, 12-16.

To submit a piece of art, please send a high-resolution scan of the artwork to [email protected] or drop the artwork into our office upstairs at 28 Fore Street on a weekday between 9am and 4pm. If you cannot make it up here on a weekday, Wellington Museum will be able to accept submissions on Saturdays between 10am and 1pm. The deadline for submissions is at 4pm on Friday 19th May. Please include the name and age of the artist on the back of the artwork or in your email.

We look forward to seeing your submissions!
