Bold & Brave Pop-Up Shop. Are you 9-14 years old? Come and join a range of free workshops. Bold and brave is Young Somerset's Social Enterprise gift shop and cafe in Taunton. Bringing together young people and the community. We are hosting a Pop Up Shop, there will be a whole range of products from our gift shop made by local young people, artists, and businesses. 22nd - 26th July 2024 10am - 4pm. U3A Wellington and District. Are you looking for a way to meet new friends or make more of your time now you are no longer in full time employment? We are one of well over a thousand democratic, self-funded organisations in the country which provides a wide range of educational, creative and leisure activities at minimal cost by making use of members' experience, knowledge, and skills. Activities are organised on a group basis where those with a common interest meet to share their experience and explore new ideas. All decisions are made by the members for the members. The U3A approach to learning is learning for pleasure. Every month there is a general meeting with refreshments. Where? Wellington Rugby Club. When? the second Monday of each month. Time? 10:15am until midday. These meetings are an opportunity to meet other members, to hear reports from group conveners and to listen to selected speakers on various subjects of general interest. Coffee or tea with biscuits is served from 10:15am. members are now asked to bring their own cup or mug for hygiene reasons and to avoid single use plastic cups! Wellington Infant Feeding Support Group. Would you like to support feeding your newborn? Tips on how to survive those early months as a new parent? Talk about weaning when the time comes? Come and meet other local parents in a safe and non-judgemental space. Share your stories and chat with a hot drink and a piece of cake.
