A number of grit bins are strategically placed around Wellington to assist residents in times of icy weather.

 

Please see the map here for specific locations. The grit bins are provided by the Town Council and are kept filled with rock salt by the County Council.

 

If you find a grit bin is empty or low on rock salt, please let the Town Council know by emailing [email protected].
